Sarah Laverty BSc (Hons)

HCPC Registered Podiatrist – HCPC Registration: CH33351

Meet Sarah Sarah is an HCPC-registered podiatrist based in Bangor, County Down, with over 12 years of experience across both the NHS and private practice.

A graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University, Sarah has worked within NHS services in Scotland and private practices throughout Northern Ireland, developing broad experience across a wide range of podiatric conditions.

She has a particular clinical focus on nail surgery and the treatment of painful, problematic and recurring nail conditions, helping patients who have struggled with ongoing nail pain.

Sarah is passionate about providing effective, long-term solutions while making every stage of treatment as comfortable and reassuring as possible.

Her approach combines clinical expertise with clear communication, personalised care and a strong focus on helping patients feel informed and confident throughout their treatment journey.

Her passion for helping others has also taken her overseas, where she volunteered providing podiatric care in Colombia, supporting local communities while broadening her professional experience.

Following the impact of dementia within her own family, Sarah developed a strong commitment to supporting individuals living with cognitive conditions. She achieved Dementia Friendly certification in 2017 and brings a calm, compassionate and patient-centred approach to every appointment.

Outside the clinic, Sarah is a busy mum of three who enjoys staying active whenever family life allows. Most recently, she took on the challenge of Hyrox Dublin.

Known for her friendly manner and reassuring approach, Sarah is dedicated to making patients feel comfortable, listened to and genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
